joining a frat in the spring.
by: Frat InterestWhen do frats start looking to get a group together for spring rush? Like does that happen before second semester or sometime during? Also what is the process for it like?

Fraternities are always on the look out for quality guys that would help improve their group as a whole. Best advice would be to put an application in at greek affairs and if you're really interested in finding an organization to join, get on a chapter's website and find out the contact info for an executive officer (preferably president or rush chair). Don't judge the house based on a website but try to see if they would be open to meeting with you for a dinner or lunch and see if you hit it off. I'll tell you right now... the longer you sit back and wait, the less likely those houses will go out of their way to find you. If you're really into considering the idea of joining one, do a little research and don't wait to get involved. Best of luck bud.
