Rushing as a sophomore

long story short: no, most chapters will not drop you simply because you are a sophomore. but, going through recruitment as a sophomore can be a little more difficult, as your college GPA is competing with high schoolers’ GPAs and you really want to show that you’ve been involved on campus already.
that being said, if you already know women within panhel that’s a great start! many chapters pledge sophomores each year, some women who haven’t gone through recruitment before and some that have. If you think you’d be interested, please go through recruitment. Even if you decide that greek life isn’t for you, you will meet so many amazing people. I was hesitant going into recruitment when I went through, but I’m so glad I did. I hope you can find your home!
