is it okay to rush as a junior transfer?

i’m most likely going to UNL next year for my last 2 years of college, if everything goes as planned. i really want to join a sorority as i won’t know anyone and think it’ll be a great way to make new friends. my questions are: 1) are my chances okay to get in? 2) if i get in, will i be able to live at the house the first year i get in?
