rush question
by: FreshieHey guys! So my gpa is a 3.3 (I know it's low), but my junior year I got into a major accident where I was in the hospital for a month and therefore my grades suffered. Is there a way I can explain that or will I be automatically dismissed because of my numbers? I'm an extremely outgoing person and can pretty much make friends with anyone! I also was cheer captain and did volunteer work organizing events for younger kids. Some of my top choices include the harder, higher gpa sororities (alpha phi, theta, G phi, kappa). If anyone has advice please let me know because I'm beyond terrified that no one will want me because of my gpa

Girly just explain the situation!!!!!!! I am in one of the houses you listed above and the its the best advice I can give you. I would just be very upfront about it and explain quick in the first rounds when you are asked questions about your high school experience what happened and why your GPA was impacted. Cause I know in my house in particular if we really want someone we make exceptions for stuff! Good luck :)
