spring rush

Fall rush you get to visit all chapters, and all chapters will extend the same number of bids. Spring rush is just for those sororities that fall below campus total as set by Panhellenic, and sometimes they only have 2 or so open spots. It all depends. Also, not all chapters do spring rush because they don't have open spots. For some chapters spring rush it is a quietly orchestrated thing, that no one really knows about.

My best advice, if you’ll be transferring in as a freshman wait till the fall of sophomore year to rush. Between that time get to know the chapters and it’s members so you have an idea of which ones you’ll like and see yourself in. If you’re a sophomore transfer then it’s totally up to you, but most chapters will frown on any PNM older than a sophomore. As for spring rush Phi Mu and ADPi pretty much always rush in the spring.
