reccomendation letters

How much do rec letters really matter? Im not gonna go through the whole process if they dont really look at them. Are there certain houses that care more than others?

I have heard that certain houses really do care about rec letters. The ones I heard that really care are Chi Omega and Delta Gamma. Other than that, I did not hear of many that needed a rec letter in order to get in.

Most sororities have a national policy that if you have a recommendation they must invite you to the first invitational round. Better safe than sorry. This being said, Theta, KKG, A Phi, Gamma Phi, DG, Chi O definitely take them into consideration so try to get them for at least these chapters.

I had a friend who had a rec letter to every house and it didn't matter at all. It's all about the girl you talk to in the party and your GPA going into recruitment.

You do NOT need one to get into DG, I am a DG and went into recruitment with NO letter of rec and it did not hurt me

same goes for chi o, rec letters are not a requirement, they just look at them more than other chapters
