At UNL, I would say they do. In my chapter we never take a second glance at a sophomore going through recruitment and all of our new member classes have had several sophomores.

That being said, if you were at UNL last year and made some "poor choices" or you made some good friends, it might be a different experience for you than for freshman. If you have good friends in chapters, they are likely to watch for you throughout recruitment and if you made "poor choices" women may also be watching for you, but in a different way.

Overall though, your chances will not be decrease at UNL (in my opinion, from my experience) because you are a sophomore.
