rushing as an upperclassmen?

Today I had a friend ask me if I thought she would get a match if she rushed as an upperclassmen due to the fact her parents had talked her out of rushing her freshman and sophomore year. I honestly didn't have a good answer so what do you guys think?

This friend of yours will never know unless she tries. It could be tough, but you will never get a bid unless you go through. What's to lose at this point?
