How hard is it to get a bid from the top tier fraternities (eg. SAE, Sig Ep etc$

That's like asking how hard is it to make a sports team. If you are good at sports, you'll make it, if you aren't, you won't. If you are chill and are a good guy, you should be able to get a bid; if you're a creep or you're kinda weird, you won't get in. Simple as that.

Almost impossible. Top tier houses like chi phi and theta xi are the hardest ones to get into, which is why you see them only sign about 10 guys a year
