gpa as a sophomore
by: hi#1by: sorority
A 3.2 is a little on the low side for some chapters so don't be surprised to be cut from quite a few houses the first couple days. Keep an open mind, and you might find just what you're looking for.
There’s still hope. One of the consequences of your freshman year, is that you may not get into your “dream” sorority. But that doesn’t mean you should give up on sorority life completely.
Accept your limitations and make the best of it! You can still enjoy sweet friends and good times in a sorority that will accept your GPA. Open your mind to the whole spectrum of sororities, not just a select few. Consider chapters outside of the NPC as well. The GPA requirements may be more flexible in a non-NPC organization.
The other alternative is to wait another semester and try informal recruitment in the spring. Or wait another year and try to pledge as a sophomore. Your journey to sorority sisterhood is not totally blocked, but you may have to be patient. xoxo ;)
