What a horrible question to ask! And what a horrible answer! Sorority membership isn't like some "mean girls" clique in high school! If you are worried about social status in college then you miss the entire point of sorority membership. All the groups called out above have absolutely wonderful members and do amazing things for the community and their sisters. It doesn't matter what letters you end up in, what matters is the experience will be the same no matter what the letters are. Go through recruitment with an open mind or you will be disappointed.

This girl got a straight, real answer. While I admire your political correctness, it's wrong of you to misguide her. How can you honestly say someone in ADPi will have the same experience as someone in Theta? That's just absurd. This is life. Hope for the best, expect the worst.
