how superficial?

How superficial are different sororities on campus? I'm rushing this fall and I'm not what some people would call "attractive". I'm overweight, but I'd like to believe that's really the only unattractive thing about me. I have a cute face and a rockin' personality. I'm average when it comes to grades. Do you think I have a chance?? I'm more interested in making friends and philanthropy than joining for the letters. What do y'all think?

just go through recruitment. None of the sororities rank you soley on your looks. Show each house your personality!

There is not a single sorority out there that would turn you away based solely on looks. Go through girls in every sorority, and I do truly mean every sorority, and you will see they have a girl of every shape and size. It's more about how you present yourself then your actual body. If you're clean, presentable and polite looks will never be an issue.
