- very religious, probably the most christian and conservative sorority on campus - super high GPA so they won’t even consider you if you had average to low grades in high school - known for being pretty involved and dominating hoco court - not very diverse… verrrry white - don’t really go out at all, every year there will be a group of freshman who like going out who end up getting shamed about it - absolutely amazing at recruitment but definition of dirty rushers, but the girls that rush you are very sweet about following you on socials after rush and reaching out even if you didn’t get in - majority are very smart and sweet girls, pretty unproblematic when it comes to campus drama - GREAT connections!

i am a new member and i can say i definitely see us being exclusive and talking down on other sororities that are similar to us. i love chio, but i wish we could just be happy for other sororities successes. we literally boo'd when the gphi's on homecoming court were introduced at the pep rally.

I think of these girls as stuck up and looking down on everyone. They just dont seem inviting to everyone

I think the sorority speaks for itself, but half of homecoming court was Chi Os. By far, the most respected on campus by students and faculty. Only houses that know that they party are those worth partying with, so they keep a classy rep. Definitely the house I would be OK with my sister rushing.

If you are not christian this sorority is not for you. If that is what you are looking for that’s great but so many people in Chi O have felt overwhelmed and excluded due to their tendencies to be a little pushy with their religion on others. I’ve heard their top floor is called “heaven” and during rush people would consistently talk about going to church. So many girls I have met in Chi O do have a holier than thou attitude and will look down on their sisters for having social lives.
