Do you know girls who are happy/have good social lives who aren't in sororities? Or girls who are in sororities but don't like them?

yes and yes. some of the most social people on campus aren't in sororities. and a lot of girls who join sororities are unhappy with them and end up deactivating. you're not making the choice between social and unsocial, or happy and unhappy.
