What’s up with zetes doing this whole “secret” thing

It’s always been weirdly funny to me the way zetes pretends to be secret around rush lol. Idk if they do it to cave out a niche or what. Just kinda strange. I’d also get it if they had membership like Castle/ Hall but the brothers you see at their events are the weird guys on your hall freshman year who would hit on you way past when it was creepy

zete has to be the most overhyped organization on this campus. 90% of zete kids are identical to the domestics who are cut first round everywhere else, but if they were from Italy and summer with the family in Mykonos
