Comments for Freshman looking to rush

Reading all of these nso posts which are comical but also interesting…

First things first, I’m pretty sure nso isn’t a grind haha all these guys do is find a location and put together a Facebook with their friends in other frats.

…CLEARLY castle dominates the social scene and Theos is in second place. From a social standpoint, other frats are way more closely ranked in these posts than anyone would care to admit…Zete is on the biggest event of nso this year while owls is on nothing you can’t say that Owls is in a better social standing than Zete. Phidelt is left with only riverdeck. ZBT is on no relevant events most people won’t admit it but they have clearly fallen out of relevancy. And Apes did way better this year while hall is still comfortably on pool. Meanwhile, no other frat is even involved in nso.

My advice to freshman would be to truly go out and meet the guys in these frats to see which guys you like. They all have very different vibes and the rankings on here mean nothing. I would not be surprised at all if you see the rankings on here move around significantly throughout rush based on how unique nso was this year with castle being on everything, followed by theos, and then by apes.

The one thing that is clear from NSO is that there is a massive gap between fraternities not mentioned here and the fraternities that are mentioned here. There is also a clear distinction between Castle and everyone else.

Greek rank is nothing more than laughing at kids in mid frats fighting over who’s better and making fake posts lol. Go out and meet the guys. First sem is the most fun you’ll ever have
