Advice for rushing T1/2 as soph?

Planning on rushing a some T1/2 frats this fall. Don’t try convincing me I should rush more places— would rather stay unaffiliated than settle. Anyone have any advice for someone in my position? I’m about as involved socially as you can be without having pledged as frosh but not super deep in terms of connections. Esp interested in Castle/Zete/Hall

try to befriend both upperclassman and freshman. Your own grade is important but assuming you already have friends in the frat, don't put all your eggs in one basket

Appreciate it— best ways to make new connections? Looked down upon to knock on the door and say hello?
