Open rush Zete as domestic

No, zete is very clicky, even internally. They already have their international freshmen kids, which many regard as weird and hence why many frats that usually take internationals are trying to poach more americans. I’d recommend other frats like SAE, SigChi, Phi, or even Fiji for open rush.

Have checked out the others you mentioned but not really into them. Like zete for the low key-ness mostly, had really good impressions from everyone I’ve met there. Not entirely set on joining Greek life but would like to try to check out zete more if possible. Worth trying for it at all?

No, weird as in they are still rushing a bunch of internationals that were cut by owls (some of them are being brought back I believe) and castle. They might get a decent class but from what I hear they haven’t cut a lot of the weird and awkward rushes just b/c they’re international.

The big difference between Castle and Zete is that Castle guys are usually less genuinely international and usually a bit more superficial. If zete is still rushing some guys who have been cut by castle, it's because they genuinely just care more about personality rather than connections, bank account or how conventionally good looking one is. Castle is only a top frat according to Americans or fake/insecure international kids. It's filled by guys who didn't have many friends in high school.

Buddy it’s known that zete is the superficial one, only taking the “weird” and “awkward” guys JUST because of connections or because of their wealth. Please stop.

That said, I do think castle is superficial as well. In my opinion castle and zete are simply frats full of fake people and I wouldn’t rush them if I wasn’t international.

Would recommend checking out zbt. Gr snottiness aside they probably have limited spots left but if you make an impression they might take you. Decently sized international crowd there (nothing on castle Zete and owls)

If by weird you mean “not understood” by rich new york or californian guys who have never left their boring suburbs then I’d understand you. Otherwise, you’re just bs’ing.
