weekly roundup + analysis

heads up, I'm not gonna bother distinguishing within sub tiers. anything between /'s are equal so I've put them in reverse alphabetical order because I like the ~aesthetic~ of a Z up front.

T1:
Theos / Castle

Both are still going strong generally, but had some fumbles this week. Theos' party was... pretty standard. Tbh it was generally seen as mid by all who attended, but it was still a theos night, which is always fun. But a little birdie told me that Castle had a little bit of trouble at the door for their NYC venue. Ifykyk - Can't win em all!

T2:
Zete / Hall / Delt
ZBT / Owls / Apes

Zete and Castle putting their NYC events on the same day... what are the chances? (hint: 100%). Regardless, Zete's was the clear winner. Their darty was a little out of left field but... strangely refreshing? Seems like everybody is moving in on Hall's darty monopoly now. Speaking of, Hall's Christmas party looked fancy, but only an hour and a half or so in, it died out completely. Delt also hosted a bit this week, and has really been doubling down on rush with some low-key rush hangouts.

ZBT and Owls standout here, with both attracting some crazy long lines out front. I don't even want to know how much ZBT dropped on Imanbek, or the number of disappointed girls finding out the hard way that they were not on the Owls party list. Both of these frats seem to have really found their stride now, props to them. Unfortunately, the same can not be said for Apes, who's had a rough week - guys, what happened to the party you had planned for Friday? (Hint: they backed out of a direct competition between Hall and ZBT)

T2.5:
SAE

Guys... what is going on inside the SAE household. Apparently the mixer was nice, and the top rushes you invited seemed alright. But where's the parties? You've been silent since hoco! All I'm asking is for one big event, then you'll be back up at T2, easy.

T3:
Sig Chi / Fiji

Rounding out the last bits of relevancy, we have Fiji and Sig Chi. Both kept it low-key this week, instead focusing their energy on a couple rush events.

As a quick aside: this is purely a party ranking. Nobody really knows how rush is going besides the freshmen hive mind, so I don't rank based on that.
