Lack of PoC men in Frats
by: what is going onWhy are there proportionally way less poc boys in Greek life compared to poc girls? Like there are no reasonably diverse Frats here (within the context that more than 50% of Penn is non-white) with the exception of like a couple. I actually am asking because I was thinking Penn Frats would be highly diverse since I was used to Vanderbilt, the college near my hometown, which is criminally non-diverse when it comes to Greek life. But tbh Penn Frats are barely better. Srats have done a better job but they seem to reward the non-diverse Frats.

if theres anything Penn has taught me is that people are so damn similar. race is not a personality trait. met some total badass guys or chillers in all races here. id say 50% of poc who get cut get cut because of something other than race but 50% do get cut because the house implicitly wants another white person

In our great country, the courts recognize freedom of association as a fundamental right. No one is obligated to socialize with anyone else. If you find yourself wanting to socialize with a group that doesn’t want you, try forming your own group of likeminded individuals.

No one is obligated to rush diverse classes because of freedom of association. But no one is obligated to stop calling out racial exclusivity because of freedom of speech. Speech is protected even if ppl are feeling uncomfortable

it’s hilarious that ya’ll think he’ll need “luck in life,” that he’s uncomfortable, or that he’s trying to impinge on your free speech. seems he’s doing just fine, loves his country, and didn’t complain about any of the comments before his.
ya’ll are always looking for something to complain about. if you want an sjw frat, start one. don’t complain that the existing social frats don’t want their parties to turn into sjw events.
