Pre-freshman bid

My friend from nyc said he was offered a bid to a frat this summer. We are both incoming freshmen, how do I meet guys and get a bid too? Which frats are doing this??

No frat would give a bid to a kid that hasnt been rushed yet even if they are a legacy or have a sibling in the frat
