Oax really lacks any class whatsoever... posting videos of girls (poorly) shotgunning beers for promo, we get it, your idea of what is cool is a high school party

Oax can try to seem “woke” all they want but at the end of the day they perpetuate the racial and social structures they claim to dislike. They lack the class to treat girls with respect and play mind games with rushes all throughout the process that are terrible for a lot of my female friends’ mental health and straight up malicious behavior.

From what I’ve seen with oax they label themselves the more chill “bro” srat and because of their rush process it only favors loud characters who stand out in alcoholic party settings (aka most rush events) this inherently selects for crazy girls. Like Okay you’re a feminist organization but your pumping your rushes with alcohol and sticking them in frat houses and seeing who stands out?? From what I’ve seen they are more loyal to the frats they associate than the actual sisters. All friend groups are made out of “going out friends” with little depth let alone activism and female support . I didn’t mean to go off I just wish someone would have told me this as a freshmen

It’s so easy to get a bid to OAX if you’re willing to be loud and go out four nights a week but unfortunately the organization doesn’t do very much for the girls on any deeper level

This is absolutely facts- @myopinion is spitting truth.
That being said, I think it is important to also acknowledge that some genuinely cool and laid-back girls choose to join OAX if they don’t want to join a panhellenic and traditional organization.
However, for freshmen reading this forum to better understand greek life (firstly gtfo every single post is BS u should meet girls then choose lol), I think it’s important to know that OAX is about 50/50 really insane wild party girls with big personalities and genuine cool and relaxed girls. I think sometimes it gets sh^t on because a lot of girls preach this “holier than thou” “cool chill guys girl” vibe of how they’re better than Panhellenic sororities and then they still go and do a lot of the same stuff and that’s what frustrates other organizations and makes everyone so catty.

looks like this organization is falling to pieces (as it should after this incident). anyone who joins after reading these comments is pretty stupid. the girls were just trying to promote an accepting & non hateful environment from the sc’s i’ve seen. it’s pretty sad to that they can’t even accept and love each other. @frosh I seriously advise you to stick to normal rush and explore your options there. while some girls are great, including the two that left, it seems to appear that most are wack and hateful people
