Social Hierarchies Will Always Exist
by: anthropologistIf Phi Delt, Theos or Tridelt are at the top of the social hierarchy at Penn's undergraduate social pyramid, that does not mean their members will be on top 5 years, 10 years or even >10 years from now... Social Hierarchies will always exist but their standards and features change as someone ages or when someone moves from one phase in life to another. Think about the popular kids in middle and high school- Are they all still people magnets? Are they all still enjoying their lives? Are they all successful by the usual measures of a young adult? Evidently not. So y'all relax, stop being so myopic and let people live and enjoy their own lives (let em keep their houses too) !
