Race Is Crucial in Deciding if you Join

Penn is MAJORITY non-white (~55% non-white). Does the Greek scene even remotely reflect that ? So many people have been discouraged from joining because it’s an old white boys and girls club. Face the facts, stop pretending, stop believing in permanence of culture. We can change with the times too.

I think in order to achieve true diversity, OFSL should help mandate certain members of color to enter greek life. Obviously these organizations won't do it on their own. This would be kind of like affirmative action, but for rush.

@Yes! ZBT is incredibly racially diverse while frats like SAE, beta, and sig chi have one or two black kids max.

Greek life absolutely needs to be more inclusive but when you start having quotas things get messy. OFSL needs to encourage more POC to rush and mandate diversity training
