why are you really here?

I have been involved in greek life at Penn for 2 years now. Sorority recruitment is whack from both angles, on the rushing side and the recruitment side. You pick girls based off of looks, who they know in the sorority, the friend group they are in, and what high school they went to. It is sad and pathetic that people act like being in certain sororities/fraternities make them higher caliber people. To whoever came onto this site looking for "rankings" of sororities or fraternities: never forget about what you're actually ranking here, which are HUMAN BEINGS. And you know what I call that? A CASTE SYSTEM.
