The kids in phi delt and oz are cooler than the ones in As and theos.
Big whoop you have bigger parties
#1by: You're not wrong, but
Most people, or at least girls for that matter, probably agree that this is the case. The brother said in Oz and Phi Delt are cooler in the traditional sense. They're also a hell of a lot closer. The guys who choose Phi Delt over A's or Oz over Theos care more about the actual members and brotherhood than the fraternity's name itself. That being said, while sororities might prefer mixing with Phi Delt and Oz, A's and Theos have the name, the reputation and, most importantly, the money to throw much bigger and often times better parties that are a bit more open. People know about A's and Theos before coming to Penn, that's not the case with Phi Delt and Oz. Judge a fraternity on whatever metrics you want. If it's off of brotherhood alone, Theos and A's wouldn't be at the top. Theos has B players and a lot of A's guys hate each other. At the end of the day, freshmen should consider what's important to them. Hosting the big parties that everyone talks about, or being close to a group of guys you actually consider brothers who you go to those parties with.

I was saying that they're traditionally cooler, period. I wasn't saying anything about whether they'd be in a good fraternity elsewhere, though I think a number of them would be. There's a world outside of Greek life and all I was saying is that by those standards, the guys in Oz are cooler than the guys in Theos.
