how long will oax be around?

I'm a freshman that really liked the oax girls and parites so far, but I'm curious about going off campus. I've heard their newest class is really different from how they used to be and that the sorority might not be around for much longer. Is this true? What are the chances that they are going to be around for the next four years?

They aren't going anywhere. Their sophomore class is definitely more quirky than the older girls (more athletes and stuff), but OAX as a whole is still very tight knit and frats love them. One of the most fun groups of people on campus.

Going down hill. Can't see them survivng much longer after the upperclassmen graduate. No protection from amy's off-campus task force

Don't let other sororities who are scared of what OAX is doing convince you that they are going down hill... They are too tight-knit and well-liked to be going anywhere...

You just have to decide where your priorities lie. If you want to be in a national organization with connections and security, join on-campus. If you want to be a part of a group that doesn't have to follow panhel rules but also has no meaning outside the penn bubble after the four years of college, go off-campus. The pledging for oax is no different than the pledging for some tridelt and theta, so don't decide based on that
