If you're cut from dirty rush at a frat, does official rush act as a second chance or is open rush more for freshmen that don't dirty rush at all?

you get another chance at open rush, it might not be easy to get a bid or noticed, but you can try.

Think about it. If Penn had rejected you during early decision, would you think you still had a chance in regular decision? If the house you liked cut you during dirty rush, set your sights lower for spring rush or don't rush at all, or you are setting yourself up for further disappointment.
