While I can totally agree with you that things within the greek life hierarchy and that there is some shifting within the ranking and all, it will take a little more time than a few weeks to change the whole system so much as to knock those houses down and move those two up. I'm going to speculate nexts falls rankings as follows:
KKG
APhi
PiPhi
AChiO/AOPi
DG
Gamma Phi
AGD
Theta
But that's just my thoughts :)

I just have noticed some exceptional women from a lot of chapters during this semester! Especially a chi o. And some not so exceptional women...I'm just glad that it seems like the greek community is stepping up, becoming more involved, and representing us well around campus

I will def agree with you, AChiO has really stepped it up this year and I wouldn't be suprised if it is a top house next fall. I'm not a AChiO either but I agree that of the couple I know, they are really nice girls and are stepping it up and are going up in rankings. Probs a solid number four for next fall in my opinion. I also think that greek life at the U has gotten a lot better and I think everyone is improving.

just a question--what do you all mean "stepping it up?" honestly all the sororities here have fantastic girls, i believe the greek system has some of the best women on campus, and the bickering on this site only makes our image more susceptible to stereotyping from non-greeks. lets just put our best foot forward and stop this unnecessary bashing and ranking. it's completely immature and not an accurate image of the sorority women here at the university of minnesota.

"Stepping it up" means stepping it up. Obviously. There are some women that have become much more involved on campus (Lizzy Shay anyone?), Panhel is doing a great job, women within some houses are definitely more involved in a POSITIVE way than other houses.
Didn't know I had to cite a list of examples.

i believe we are in agreement that greek women are some of the best. i am pointing out that saying a single sorority is "stepping it up" is a weird thing to say. instead of arguing over which sorority is "best" i think we should be promoting greek life in general. this site is deterring potential new members from joining solely because of comments like yours and the bashing on this site.
