Rushing as a sophomore

Considering panhellenic recruitment as a sophomore. What’s the difference in chances compared to freshman rushing? I’ve been told it’s important to have some active member connections if you’re a sophomore and I don’t have any, is that detrimental?

I rushed as a sophomore and I know a few girls who did as well. Honestly I had a great experience and it makes rush a little easier bc everything is less new

I also rushed as a Sophmore! Most girls who rush are freshmen but plenty still rush as sophomores. I wouldn’t Stress about having connections with girls, but rather be yourself and keep an open mind. Going through rush was the best decision I made in college and love where I ended up, without any connections! Good luck and have fun!
