rushing as a sophomore and letter of recs!!!

by: sophomore

Hey guys, I'll be as sophomore this fall and I'm thinking of rushing. How much do letter of recs help for specific houses? Any information will be helpful thanks!

Letters of recommendation are not required for sorority recruitment, and the vast majority of girls don't have them. If you have someone who is willing to write you one, it doesn't hurt, but not having them won't hurt either. I don't want to say recruitment isn't competitive, because it is, but it's not nearly as competitive as the South, for example.

Also, I don't know if going through recruitment as a sophomore is the reason you think you need them, but there are a TON of sophomores that participate. It's not strange around here and it definitely doesn't hurt your chances.

Letter of Recs really don’t do much, maybe someone will go over your name once more but if you weren’t going to get in before that then it won’t sway it .
