new frat?

Any new frats coming to UMN? I kinda just want to start one rather than join one

There are currently 30+ social frats on campus. Bringing in a new one would probably hurt Greek life at the U more than help it, as there are already several newer frats that are struggling to recruit new members and get a permanent facility.

I would recommend joining a smaller, newer fraternity instead of starting your own.

Do not start your own. Join a smaller one and you'll be able to influence it and shape it in the way you want.

Zeta Psi is the new fraternity on campus that is currently in the colonization process. Alpha Sigma Phi and Theta Chi started here in 2013. There will be another new fraternity coming to campus sometime in 2018.
