Alpha Kappa Alpha - ΑΚΑ Sorority at University of Minnesota Twin Cities - UMN 1.8 As someone who's very involved on campus, the MCGC sororities are completely MIA. I can't remember the last time I saw a member wearing letters on campus, they don't participate in homecoming or Machy Days, and the only time you hear about them is when OFSL posts about them having a new pledge class. It's pretty clear that these ranks come from AKA, because no one else has heard of or seen them.

Most NPHC fraternities and sororities are either small in numbers or unheard of at historically and/or predominantly white institutions. Just because you haven't heard of it, doesn't mean the organization(s) doesn't exist. Do your research. I'm a black female who is a member of a sorority in the Divine Nine (if you don't know what this is GOOGLE IT). Reading is so fundamental.
