Frat tier list and explanations

Top tier

Delts: I don’t think I’ve had more fun at any house than I had at delts first semester last year. There was a time where they would be denying people at the door because the football team was inside partying. And it was too packed. Overall very nice guys and I have never had a bad experience with any of them. They really emphasize to the pledges not to be touchy with girls. Which is nice compared to what I’ve heard and seen at other houses. I’ve even seen some of the sophomores yell at a kid who they thought was being handsy. They’re make up is about half and half Iowa and Minnesota.

Sig ep: these guys are really cool as well. Some of the funniest guys I’ve ever met. They know how to have fun safely. And I have personally been walked home from their house by multiple members on different occasions. Although their house is old they make it work and are very creative with events they hold. They are primarily made up of Minnesota guys. Very down to earth and love to have a good time. They never really have any weird guys and they always treat women with respect.

Ato: I really like about half of the guys in this house. Some occasions they have really fun parties when delts/sig ep aren’t throwing. Their house got pretty fun second semester this year after sig ep and delts stopped having as many parties second semester. Of the half of the guys I really don’t like, it is because they make the stereotype of ato on campus. Which is thinking they are better than they are, touchy with girls, and cannot take no for an answer. This is why ato is used primarily for a pregame before people go to delts and sig ep. it also doesn’t help they proved rumors to be true when they had a SA case. They are probably the most diverse “party house” on campus. They have members from all around the Midwest.

Side not: sig ep and delts get along with most houses on campus.

Mid tier

Fiji: the only thing preventing Fiji from becoming a top tier house is the wet house factor. They are dry. Most of their guys are the best of the bunch that don’t get bids from the top tier houses. Very nice guys but you can kind of tell why they didn’t get bids from top houses. Down to earth. Usually get really good pairings for Greek week and hoco. Also a mix of guys from the Midwest.

Tke: these guys are cool their satellite is very similar to Fiji. I didn’t spend very much time at their house/ satellite but my friends tell me good things and bad. A lot of iowa guys in this house.

Phi delt: like most the mid tier houses the only time people go to their houses are when they have formals coming up or when top tier houses aren’t having people. Fun group of guys and are always nice to everyone.

Lower tier: fruity/ weird
