I literally don’t understand why anyone should join aphi. Like the nation rep is so bad and they have such sketchy recruitment methods...all the girl seem follow basic stereotypes and I feel like when someone says they’re in aphi people tend to make snap judgments based on that and Idk why anyone would want to subject themselves to that. They were rude af to me during recruitment. If you’re an aphi sorry but that’s just my take on it. All my friends in other Greek life have the same issues with the aphi chapters on their campus.

could you share which houses you had great experiences from during recruitment? In your opinion, which ones did you feel most comfortable with?

I mean other than aphi I got rude vibes the girls in DZ and SK but I haven’t heard that as much from other people so maybe it was just who I talked to. My convo at aopi was really awkward but not in a rude was just that it was hard to get through

are there really any houses here at isu that stand out and are so much better than other houses? I'm not in a house but know girls in many different houses an I don't get a sense that there's a huge ranking (best to least) between the houses. Am I right?

Sorta like there’s kinda teirs the houses that you don’t wanna be paired with the ones the constantly dominate greekweek and hoco the party houses the ones in the middle

I can think of one or two houses that def has more ~quirky~ less traditionally attractive members

After I read that doc that the girl from the Michigan chapter made I have had a very different view of them, a bunch of girls in my rush group joined and they all looked and acted the same :/ I new a girl freshman year who is aphi she was super sweet and pretty smart but she always mentioned how she felt their sisterhood was lacking and that it was really cliquey
I’m sure there are really great aphis it’s a shame that their nationals is basically forcing them to fit a specific (and pretty immoral) mold- it really tarnishes the rep of all their members imo
