Is it just me or are posts disappearing from here like one day it’s here and the next it’s gone... what’s going on?

Yup, and excellent and objective post about sororities posted early this morning disappeared in a couple of hours.

I saw that too didn’t seem to be biased or rude so what’s the point

One of the ways this site makes money is by allowing you to have post removed for a fee. For chapters looking to protect their image going into recruitment a lot will pay to have a post removed if they think it might hurt their image.
