an fyi to those about to join a house

This is just a reminder to all of those who are currently on this site: I get it. I was once in your shoes trying to figure out which house is best or coolest or all that, because at the end of the day every house will make it seem like a dream come true so you truly have no idea which one to go with, as a future college student all these greek letters and names are just sounds to you, and you're terrified of making the wrong choice. I am here to say that they all are excellent and each specializes at something and is the best in a certain way. These upcoming days should be spent just being 100% yourself and seeing where you feel happiest. If you see people talking in extremes one way or the other about a house on this site take it with a grain of salt. Those talking about how great and wonderful a house is are usually trying to make themselves feel cooler, and those who talk poorly about a house either wanted to get in but couldn't, got kicked out for something they did wrong, or want to feel cooler about being in the house that they are in. Honestly don't even look at this site, go in with a completely open mind, but also with a general idea of what you want. Do some research in advance, but just go with your gut. It is your experience and you owe it to yourself to have it go exactly how you want.
