Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority at Iowa State University - ISU 5.0 the aopis are genuinely super nice and fun to hang out with. we were paired with them last greek week and they were super involved and came to our parties a lot. really pretty smart girls

Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority at Iowa State University - ISU 4.5 they're on the rise for sure. like most chapters, some girls are better than others in terms of being nice/classy. definitely a lot of party girls so they don't have as high grades but at least they are a good time. one of the nicer actual houses too

Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority at Iowa State University - ISU 1.4 I can tell you the positive reviews are from about three members in this chapter. Genuinely was the worst part of my college experience. They are complete morons when it comes to managing the finances for other people and frequently screw you over. They will lie to you about the reality of dues and will mismanage their money then raise dues just for events such as formals. When working with fraternities, we were strongly disliked and known to have terrible teamwork. Many members blamed all pairing issues on the men and were oblivious to the fact that we as a chapter failed to work with them. Inside the house was an ever-changing hierarchy of power that would reside in places such as standards boards and make it impossible to have someone to confide genuine issues in. Therefore, making it extremely hard to feel heard and have your problems solved. Their nationals are just as bad. No one cares about you while you're in and they give you absolutely no assistance when trying to abandon the program all together. They force feed you the housing contract super early on, so you are forced to stay with them for at least two years because they are so desperate for members. Yeah, no, seriously, this is not the place to be if you want genuine relationships from a sorority.

NEW ON GREEKRANK

Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority at Iowa State University - ISU 4.0 From what I’ve seen, AOPi has one of the best sisterhoods on campus. The girls seem to genuinely care about one another and their chapter. Definitely not the most popular chapter but they get too much hate for no reason. Every AOPi I’ve met has been incredibly kind and sweet. They have a good mix in their last few pledge classes of girls that like to go out and girls that don’t. Overall AOPi is a solid chapter with great girls that is growing and improving.

THEY LIED TO ME, I HAD TO GET A LAWYER INVOLVED. please joining this chapter was the biggest mistake of my entire life. It’s not sisterhood, it’s truly every women against each other. They will make you eat dust if it benefits “the sorority”. This chapter is not what it once was. There dozens of us now that have been financial manipulated by this chapter.

Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority at Iowa State University - ISU 2.5 Don’t sign a housing contract. There is a way to break it, but you have to pry it out of them, and once you pry it out of them they won’t help you break it, even when they are your own sisters. They don’t care about you if you are leaving the organization.

Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority at Iowa State University - ISU 3.0 I was a recruiter with this chapter and they randomly had me stop recruiting and put me onto other tasks instead. They never explained the reasons why and it was hurtful. The lack of transparency is very harmful and there is definitely something shady at play
