Have been put on a strict probation. Will have a membership review to remove 2/3 of members. There is a lot of brave talk about not cooperating with nationals and instead sticking together as a brotherhood.

As of now they are all not affiliated with "sig ep" but will go through interviews and will be reevaluated to determine who stays and who goes. Nobody knows when they will be done with that process & still up for getting kicked out (hasn't been determined by university)

Meaning that some of the guys aren't initiated brothers yet? I don't know how SigEp works compared to SAE official rules (initiates on paper for nationals after 96 hours) etc.

They aren't allowed to call themselves sigeps until they go through the interview/reevaluation process and are officially offered basically a new membership. The national sigep team will make all members here go through the selection process again but more thorough than basic summer rush. They want to rebuild sigep and not kick them off

All members who are initiated (summer recruits just got initiated) so the whole house or seniors-freshman will go through a revaluation process to select members who will help rebuild future of sigep. Basically weeding out the troublemakers.

What's the most logical place for the released pledges to go join?

Nowhere. They can't join more than one fraternity. If they're initiated, that's that.

Well...since they literally got initiated right before all this, IF they DONT get asked back from nationals, they would have to join SigEp at another college...since they are initiated into the fraternity
