oos bids for fraternities

I'm an oos student from Missouri, and looking to go to OU. Do fraternities not give bids to kids out of state? I've heard many stories from other schools of fraternities cutting people their first day because they weren't from their state. I also have no connections to members at OU. Please be honest.

There are tons of guys from oos. Don't worry. Just make sure your grades and activities are up and don't act weird.
