Good for Fiji! I only say that because the same little DDD is always on here claiming they are not a top house along with other top houses. Congrats to theta and the rest in the group too.

Says the bitter DDD who spends all her time insisting PiPhi and ChiO are bad houses. We all understand the rules and we all realize how badly DDD did because queen gets lots of points for a house and DDD couldn't even place with all those points. DDD has one nice girl, well of course they do because all the houses do.Unfortunately one girl can't carry an entire house. DDD has recruited badly the last 4 years, the top girls went to all the top houses.

A simple "XYZ won this and ABC won that" is sufficient. No one is interested in your middle school rhetoric. Put on your big girls pants. Ugh..... We all know you hate DDD. They know it, you know it, we know it. We get it. Nobody cares.

Hahaha so true remember when DDD claimed they did well in scandals cuz they do rated a bunch of change to win a tiny little consolation when their Scandals performance was a bust! I guess that's what happens when your house isn't allowed to cheat anymore.

The second comment on this number is a DDD because she always writes that when something truthful is said about DDD but she never defends the other houses when people straight up lie about them. Haha she's so jealous of all the top houses it's creepy and hysterical at the same time.

Hahaha poor girl the queen may be a member of your house but how pitiful a sorority has only one girl to brag on. Yikes! I guess that explains all the losing and jealous bitterness in DDD only one great girl in the bunch! Unfortunately for DDD all the other houses have lots of great girls and they all work together to do well in competitions. Isn't your one great girl about to graduate! Yikes! What will your house do??? DDD can't cheat any more and will soon lose the one good girl they have so.....

This string of comments is the most middle school thing ever. WE all know who the good houses are. There's all kinds of definitions of what people think of as good but the ones that are considered the top half at OU are DDD KAO KKG PBP GPB and XO. The rest are the bottom half.

The PLC girls in DDD were cut by the top four houses. Those four took the top girls in PLC but couldn't take them all because they have to stay diverse with cheerleaders, Pom girls, athletes etc. DDD always takes the girls that don't quite make the cut for the top houses. DDDs PLC girls aren't bad they just aren't the best of the PLC class.

The real truth is that this hoco competition didn't mean squat. The girls didn't get to choose who they were working with so it's not like usual when you can gauge whether a house is strong or not based on how they do and which house they're doing hoco with. That's just the truth, regardless of whether any house likes it or not.

I disagree. I think that because the pairings were random, winning has more value. It means that you made the most of what you were given as opposed to other years when good houses chose other good houses and swept the competition. If you look at each event, the teams who placed weren't the same ones every time. This year was definitely more competitive.

Good of you to look at it that way. I'm a Theta and I disagree. We were incredibly lucky this year and some of the hardest working sororities were paired with amazing partners who didn't really have a plan because they usually don't participate. I think if they do this each year the non-pan, non-ifc groups will improve too. But actually we were lucky and realize it wasn't Theta that won, it was largely due to our entire group, especially the AASA. They were AMAZING!

DDD and GPB were paired together. Those two houses couldn't win anything together and they are always trying to beat the top sororities. They couldn't do it. The top houses still placed in the top 3 regardless of who they were partnered with. So DDD and GPB are just bitter they were bested by all the houses! Oh Wait didn't they win dodgeball!!! ;)

I actually think the random pairings is a great way to interact with other non-Greek organizations. Who really thinks that it's important who wins HC? It's just fun to see who did well in certain categories, great if you actually win! So congrats to all the winners and all the people who at least had fun or got to meet some other groups at OU.
I would name those who won, but I'm sure it would be followed up with a nasty post about what losers they really are...:-( Congrats unnamed groups!

Loved to see the Theta post - especially compared to the two other houses who placed and have been bragging non-stop that their placing raises them to the very top of the tiers. They've completely ignored the fact that they participated with others who also worked hard.

Theta and Fiji won overall. They were also paired with aasa and I think Phi delt.
