ou sororities
by: actual student
Some girls seem to have an agenda but the honest truth is the Greeks on campus at OU are generally perceived in the following rankings. I do not know if it's because of history, return rates, legacies etc. I just know it is what it is.
Top 5
pick your order but generally seen in the order listed
Theta, Kappa,PiPhi,ChiO,Tridelt
the middle moved around a lot within itself currently the order generally believed is
Aphi, GPB, DG,AXO
houses generally perceived as still building and growing viewed in exact order as seen by most students
AOP,AGD
AGD had a house fire and it has been a challenge the order may switch around when their house is finished
people on this site with anything else have some sort of agenda
go ahead guess my house you probably will be wrong
I did not join my house for it's rank or lack of rank but because I liked the girls and wanted them as sisters. I am happy with my choice. I am glad I followed my heart. It is clear not everyone is as happy or content with their sorority. I believe if you follow your heart and not a ranking you will be happiest in the house that you chose and chooses you right back

Yes I also pledge for the sisterhood. I see things a little differently. You may have your option and I will have mine. I don't want to argue about rank on this site, it is pointless. However, I just don't understand why anyone would think things would never change? That is not reality.

the only way things will ever change is if every girl going through recruitment grows enough confidence to pledge a house they feel comfortable and at home unfortunately too many girls get caught up in letting someone else decide their self worth by the so called ranks and it's good you see things a little differently because it means you don't just go along with the crowd and the status quo
