cheerleader in pi phi
by: Over itIt's been circulating that since Jamie got PBP it's the top house since she has over 400k insta followers, is a coed cheerleader, etc. True or no?
#1by: what you don't know
No every house was as eager to have a person with 400k instagram followers in their house. Some (won't mention any names) did not invite her back for that reason (though I think the rumor is that she had a perfect rush - but that's all it is - a rumor). I'm sure she's a nice girl, but she's just a better fit for Pi Phi than for one of the top houses.
And lord, no it doesn't make Pi Phi a top house.

Jamie is "cheer"famous. And lord knows there are a ton of former cheerleaders going through recruitment. It certainly won't hurt in their future recruitments the next 3 years, especially when going after Texas girls who cheered in high school. Jamie is very well known in those circles.

It's sad to see that so many houses dropped Jamie for her "fame." They missed out on such a great girl, but hey I'm happy they did because we got to welcome her into our home! We are not claiming to be "top" house because of her by any means so I hope those rumors stop spreading. We are thrilled with the amazing girls we welcomed this year and are so happy other girls found their home in other sororities! In the end, ranks change but we're all a big Greek family no matter what!

by: Not a PiPhi
I think it was a big mistake for houses not to recruit her including mine. She obviously has insane dedication to her sport. She probably wouldn't end up being the sorority president or a 4.0. However, different girls bring different things. I'm guessing some were threatened by her knowing she would take attention away from them. Since she is obviously close to a PiPhi it might have been a done deal. I hope in the future people give girls a chance regardless. Congrats PiPhis!
