by: GreekSome girl on this site seems to be implying if a PNM drops from recruitment then the PNM could get snapped up by a top house before bid day. Please do not believe this. PNMs do not drop if you aren't invited back to one of the houses you desire. I assure you, you will not be getting a snap bid to a top house. The girl posting doesn't seem to actually understand how snap bids work. She's giving out false information. If she understood the process she would not be encouraging girls to drop and hope for snap bids.

If you drop out when you still have invitations left you will not get a snap bid to a top house. You will not get a snap bid to a mid tier house. You will not get a snap bid to a low tier house. Sorry. That's just not how snap bids work. The only girls eligible are those that were not invited back to any house at all.

If you want to ask an expert, find a Chi O. They've had to snap bid for the last three years to make quota.

again any girl who drops because she doesn't get a house she wants can be snapped up before bid day however spreading the rumor a girl should drop to have the opportunity to get in a top house is simply lying

Ask the Chios. They are the only house forced to do snap bids for the past 3 years.

Chi Omega is the only house that snap bids and they are bottom tier. I would pledge any of the other 10 before them. They are notoriously cruel to the girls they give snap bids too.
