rush advice for girls

You've probably been told this already but the best advice for rush week truly is- GO IN WITH AN OPEN MIND!!!
Don't go in with a mental list of houses based off which one your friends' are in, which one boys like the best, or even which one you are a legacy in.
I say this because all the sororities here are great! You will make friends in whatever house you end up in. You will also meet guys regardless of which sorority you rush. And as for the legacy thing, if you are one, you might feel pressured to be in that sorority but you may end up not liking it so much!
This process is about YOU. Not your friends, not boys, and not your family. Rush is about finding where you belong and your sisters!
In the end, you will get a bid and eventually be initiated into a house. You will be a member of that sorority for life. So make sure it's one that you are proud to be a part of.

Honestly, I love all the houses at OU except for Chi Omega. I think most people feel that they could have been in numerous houses. Even if you get cut from your favorites give 10 of them a chance. I can't in good conscience rec'd Chi Omega because of their mean ways and poor reputation.

Chios have done it all to themselves. PiPhi isn't my favorite but they are nothing compared to the vicious nature of Chios.

author isn't from a top house so of course she wants you to keep an open mind but truth is she knows the top houses aren't easy to get into so when the top houses cut you move on and try to be happy instead of being a bitter hater from the wanna be house whose members still can't get over being cut from top houses

That's why they've spent months on here running down all the houses above them. They wanna be tops so bad but until they recruit solid girls with decent reputations they ain't gonna be. Even their legacies are not acknowledging that they're pi phis on their recruitment forms. They're the worst.

ditto except for me it's Pi Phi. They have caused so much trouble on here and may explain one reason you dislike Chi O.
