I agree. Ask questions to see which house has girls most like you. If studying is your thing, ask about academics and study hours. If partying is your thing, ask about the parties. If involvement is your thing, ask what activities the house does and how successful they are. If philanthropy is your thing, there is a whole day devoted to exploring each house's philanthropy. But you can also ask about dance marathon and big event. Ask lots of questions -- that helps you learn about the house and helps the girls you meet know you're interested!

If it says that the ranking "always has been or always will be" or "we're all laughing at..." or "everyone knows" or ranks houses by their own perception of the beauty of the members. Top houses look for so much more and then they're criticized because some low ranked house has more beautiful girls. Some people like orange girls with straw hair, some like sleek shiny girls. There is no consenses.
