hardest houses to get in
by: real storyA house that has had some trouble recruiting lately (3 years in a row of snap bids) has been posting a list of houses that are hardest to get into and including her own house in the list which it isn't at all actually. This is the honest list of the houses that are hardest to get into: Theta, Kappa, Tri Delt, Gamma Phi, Pi Phi in whichever order you like them best.

I watched the pageant. She may have won but it was very obvious a split panel. She was very weak in Looks and Talent. All over the pageant boards people are in disbelief.

By split panel... I mean the judges were split between two other girls(DFW and Park Cities) on Final ballot. By default the crown went to her. If you know her, you might suggest she change her evening gown as well... Very dated look. Her hair reads "Real Housewives" and needs an update before Miss America.

Someone needs to report Chio to Panhellenic. They are obviously posting on here to try and get much needed help for their house in the upcoming recruitment. No one but a Chio would have known that a Chio won miss Texas and then use it to defend themselves on here within minutes of her crowning.

i heard DDD was being reported for everything they are writing about ChiO, Pi Phi and GPB.

The judges probably had trouble deciding which OU ChiO to crown Miss Texas since TWO were in top 5.

Actually Richardson was much stronger than the girl that won. I would have placed her 3rd in top 5 after Dallas and Park Cities. 4th should have gone to DFW and 5th should have been Fort Worth(the girl that won). On the up side, Texas just made it significantly easier for Miss Oklahoma to advance at Miss America.

either way they were OU chiO's and since you weren't a judge you probably have no qualifications to judge

Miss Richardson was 2nd runner up she's and OU Chi Omega too so your story about the split decision is exactly that a story. DFW was fourth runner up or fifth place. You look more than a little stupid. If you are going to post might try posting the actual facts. They are all over the news and newspaper today.

It is not a story. Go to Pageant Guru Voy Board. Other states are happy Texas screwed up picking her. Richardson would have been a better pick. You can also visit "The Road To Miss America" board. You will see not one person had her picked to win. On the positive, she is a nice girl. So sad Chios only nice girls have left the house and they are stuck with mean, wannabes.

The judges for Miss Texas picked her. They also picked the runner ups in the order they received the awards. Your opinion of who should have won is exactly that. The judges chose the winner. You do not have to like it but at no time were they deciding if the fourth runner up should have won by split decision. Keep spinning. I can't wait to read your next excuse.

In any event, she's an alum - not at all connected to the Chi O house. It's like AXO's alum getting Miss Oklahoma. It's just not that big a deal to anyone at OU. Congratulations to Texas, though. (But do we care? No!)

I don't see how it matters if Chi O has two out of state pageant girls. Chi O is big in Texas. They come to OK and get cut by the top houses but are glad to get Chi O so that when they go back to Texas they can be in alum groups with their friends. How would girls like that make a difference in Chi O's rank? Rank depends on which girls want to go to which houses and OK girls don't want Chi O except as a last choice.

Chi O is the top house at OSU for sure but they are the middle or a bit lower at OU. DDD is the top house at OU, but they are a middle house at OSU. I don't think this means that DDD is struggling unless it means Chi O is too. I see them as equal in OK and DDD is definitely much better at OU.

Yes, the houses listed originally are the hardest to get into and girls are thrilled to get any of those houses. But after what the Pi Phis are doing on this board to the Chi Os (who are a middle tier house) is shameful and I predict that some pnms will be spreading this story and that Pi Phi will have a backlash this year. It's taken a lot of people to figure out that it isn't Chi O but that instead it's Pi Phi. I just hope it's not too late for Chi O to make quota. I also hope Pi Phi gets what's coming to them.

I feel sorry for Chi O. I think they already have plenty of problems and don't need a bunch of Pi Phi hate heaped on them.

Pi Phi is the one with the Miss Texas / Chi O alum postings. They know that everyone will just pounce on Chi O for thinking that enhances their house at all. All the top houses could have invited her back if they'd wanted to but obviously they didn't think she would fit into their houses. It doesn't matter what she did after she left OU. She didn't do anything here to help Chi O so she's a moot point.
