Good gpa, what your activities in high school were and how involved you were. How you dress and do your hair and makeup is extremely important. Make sure to put in a lot of effort for your appearance.

I'd say GPA, connections, activities, talents (dancing, singing are important for shows), activities already involved in at OU (PLC, national merit, cheer/pom), etc. are most important. You do have to look good, but really, almost all the girl going through look great that week. If you have all the other things and look put together, that's what you need. Designer dresses and elaborate hair and makeup are not necessary.
