be the change

I really hope the Greeks think long and hard about which side to support and on which side of history you want to be on. Maybe you have friends in THAT fraternity but they made some very poor choices. I would have serious concerns about...
1) My own standing in my greek membership and my own house's reputation before showing any support officially or unofficially.
2) The future of the entire Greek system at OU based on this particular groups actions, lawsuits, etc. I hope they don't destroy life for everyone while in the middle of their temper tantrum.

I believe OU handled the situation as best as they could and possibly prevented another Ferguson. OUs brand will be forever tarnished because of this incident. In addition, the members have already reported they have received death threats and attacks. It is in their own safety that they be removed and disbanded. I would like to think that no one at OU would be a problem. However, I believe their safety could easily be compromised from those on the outside coming in from both Oklahoma and other parts.

What the boys did was stupid and wrong. I hope they certainly don't have that kind of hate in their hearts. But it was a learned song and the house did need to have its charter pulled. I am more shocked about the behavior of the members in the house after the incident. Many organizations have spoken out that we need to learn and trust each other and find a way to be tolerant of all. SAE has done nothing but blame others, attempt to justify their actions, and threaten to sue. Those actions show who those boys really are. They are narcissistic and self consumed. They have deserved everything they've gotten. Their nationals is revoking their memberships stating this publically several times on national news. Even the national fraternity is disgusted. Think how far an apology could have gone but no thise arrogant self centered boys are worried they lost their party house.theur actions speak quite loudly.
