sae national's response
by: CuriousI have not heard SAE's National come out and state that this chant is isolated to only OU. Chants/songs/cheers commonly are spread/replicated at other chapters nationally. Just curious if their National has addressed this and/or has made a statement on the potential prevalence of this chant? I hope this is isolated case, yet believe this question should be answered.

It's OU. The national office has to realize that chant started underground but is sung and known by a lot of the chapters even if it's not in their so called sanctioned song book.

is not worried about doing the right thing....just in saving face. Just like the university. And before anyone starts, I agree SAE messed up and should be gone.
SAE has WAY too much money coming in from Southern chapters who are smart enough not to mess up like the OU chapter did.

You would have thought SAE National Officers would have had a press conference by now or come to UO to speak with the student body to address the issue/ questions etc. As I also suspected, these white top tier National Fraternities are basically USELESS.
